Appia Energy Update with James Sykes (VP Exploration & Development)

James Sykes provides an update on the results of Appia Energy’s exploration program over the past six months at their Loranger and Alces Lake properties in the Athabasca Basin as well as discusses Appia’s exploration plans for 2018.

James is the Vice President of Exploration and Development for Appia Energy Corporation, a uranium explorer in the Athabasca Basin in northern Saskatchewan. Over the past decade, James has been directly and indirectly involved with the discovery of over 450 M lbs. of U3O8 in the Athabasca Basin. Most notably, James was the chief geologist leading the exploration program which resulted in NexGen’s Arrow discovery.

Appia Energy is debt-free and owns its properties 100% outright. The company is dually-focused on exploring for high-grade uranium and rare earth elements in the prolific Athabasca Basin area as well as developing its Elliot Lake, Ontario uranium and rare earth element project. At the Elliott Lake property, Appia has NI 43-101 compliant resources of 8.0 M lbs U3O8 and 47.7 M lbs TREE Indicated and 20.1 M lbs. U3O8 and 133.2 M lbs. TREE Inferred in the Teasdale Zone plus 27.6 M lbs U3O8 Inferred in the Banana Lake Zone in the Elliot Lake, ON, historic mining camp.
