NACCO Industries, Inc. Announces Second Quarter 2020 Results

CLEVELAND, Aug. 5, 2020 /PRNewswire/ — NACCO Industries, Inc.(®) (NYSE: NC) today announced consolidated net income of $6.1 million, or $0.86 per diluted share, for the quarter ended June 30, 2020 compared with consolidated net income of $8.0 million, or $1.14 per diluted share for the quarter ended June 30, 2019. The decrease in consolidated net income was due primarily to lower earnings in the Minerals Management segment, partly offset by improved earnings in the North American Mining and Coal Mining segments, lower unallocated employee-related expenses, and a favorable change in taxes.
