StrataTech Education Group Launches New Advanced Industrial Maintenance Technology Program at Tulsa Welding School
PHOENIX, May 7, 2025 /PRNewswire/ — StrataTech Education Group (StrataTech), an operator of skilled trade schools: The Refrigeration School, Inc. (RSI) in Phoenix and Tulsa Welding School (TWS) with locations in Tulsa, Jacksonville, Houston, and Dallas Metro, has launched a new Advanced Industrial Maintenance Technology (AIMT) program. The skilled trade program is open for enrollment at TWS Houston and TWS Dallas Metro.
According to the U.S. Bureau of Labor Statistics, more than 50,000 job openings for industrial machinery mechanics, maintenance workers, and millwrights are projected each year over the next decade—many driven by retirements in the current workforce. To help meet this growing demand, the Advanced Industrial Maintenance Technology program has been launched.
The Advanced Industrial Maintenance Technology program equips students with the hands-on skills and technical knowledge needed to thrive in high-demand industrial careers. From the evolution of industrial maintenance and safety compliance to advanced electrical theory and material fabrication, the curriculum delivers a well-rounded, real-world education. Students will gain a strong foundation in both mechanical and electrical systems, develop a sharp awareness of workplace hazards and safety protocols, and receive practical training in diagnosing and repairing industrial machinery and equipment.
“This program aligns seamlessly with our current offerings and addresses a growing need in the workforce,” said Mary Kelly, CEO and President of StrataTech Education Group. “We anticipate strong career prospects for graduates as industry demand continues to rise.”
In as little as seven months, students can be prepared for careers as industrial service and maintenance technicians across industries such as manufacturing, energy, distribution, and industrial systems.
The estimated entry level salary for careers in the advanced industrial manufacturing industry is about $60,000.
