Bronco Resources Provides Major Operations Update – Placer Mountain Gold Project

August 13 2026 – TheNewswire – BRONCO RESOURCES CORP. (TSX-V:BRON) (“Bronco” or the “Company”), is pleased to provide an update on its 2026 exploration activities at the Placer Mountain Gold Project, located in the Similkameen Mining District, near Princeton, BC.
The 2026 exploration campaign represents the largest and most multifaceted field program undertaken on the Placer Mountain Gold Project to date and is designed to significantly advance the Company’s understanding of multiple high-priority gold targets generated through Bronco’s developing magnetic alteration exploration framework.
The exploration program integrates high-resolution airborne LiDAR, systematic soil and rock geochemistry, and detailed ground magnetic surveying to prioritize future drill targets across the Main Zone, Kodiak Zone and several other emerging exploration targets.
Bronco has successfully completed a high-resolution airborne LiDAR survey covering approximately 2,500 hectares at Placer Mountain. The survey provides a detailed digital elevation model (DEM) that will support structural interpretation, geological mapping, outcrop identification and future exploration planning across the property. Topographic lineations have been identified which are coincident with known gold mineralization and gold in soil anomalism.

Bronco also has completed a systematic soil geochemical survey consisting of 1,012 soil samples collected across the Eastern Palace and Grizzle priority target areas. Sampling focused on expanding geochemical coverage proximal to the Kodiak Zone, while evaluating additional prospective areas east, utilizing existing forestry roads. Field crews also prospected at the Grizzle Target, with 18 samples collected, focusing on newly identified outcrop exposures. Laboratory analyses are currently pending, with results expected in the coming weeks.

Photon Assay™ Successfully Adopted for 2026 Rock Assays
Earlier this year, Bronco completed an evaluation program comparing Chrysos Photon AssayTM technology with historical conventional fire assay results, from selected mineralized drill core samples collected from the Kodiak Zone.
The comparison demonstrated several mineralized intervals returned higher gold grades when using a 500g Photon Assay analysis versus a conventional 50g fire assay, consistent with improved recovery of coarse and nuggety gold commonly associated with quartz vein-hosted gold systems like Placer Mountain. The presence of significant positive determinations in several high-grade samples validates our assay method comparison exercise, and further suggests that coarse gold may contribute significantly to the grade variability within portions of the deposit.

Bronco Resources has a secure core storage facility near Princeton, British Columbia. Sections of drill core to be resampled were selected by company geologists to include low, medium, and high-grade intervals. Drill core was physically rehandled and photographed, before and after sampling. For each selected interval, the remaining half-core retained from prior drilling was sampled by Company geologists. Each sample was placed into a poly sample bag, with a new sample ID created for the sample. The samples were sealed and then placed into rice bags. The sample shipment was transported by company personnel to MSA Labs in Langley, British Columbia. The samples were processed according to method CPA-Au1 (Photon Assay™) and IMS-230 (48-element). Samples were weighed, crushed, and a 500-gram split taken. The samples were then shipped to MSA designated Chrysos Photon AssayTM facility in Prince George, British Columbia, where the gold determinations were finalized.
The Company has now commenced its Phase 2 ground magnetic survey, representing the next stage in the systematic evaluation of the Placer Mountain Gold Project.
The survey has been designed as an approximately 450 line-kilometer program consisting of 25 metre line spacing across the Kodiak Zone to provide fine detailed coverage of the Company’s principal discovery area. 50 metre line spacing is planned across the broader survey area to efficiently evaluate additional targets, coincident with the geochemical grid. Approximately one month of ground geophysical field work is planned, and is currently underway at the project.

Importantly, the new survey has been designed with survey lines in an appropriate geometry to be seamlessly integrated the existing Main Zone ground magnetic imagery, allowing the Phase 1 and Phase 2 datasets to be into a single high-resolution magnetic interpretation.
The expanded survey is expected to significantly improve the Company’s understanding of magnetic alteration patterns, intrusive architecture and structural controls on gold mineralization between the Main Zone and Kodiak Zone while providing valuable exploration information across several additional target areas.
Young Willis Claim Officially Granted
Bronco is also pleased to announce that it has received confirmation from the Province of British Columbia that its Young Willis mineral claim application has now been officially granted.
The newly granted claims expand the Company’s land position along the prospective quartz corridor and increase Bronco’s exposure to underexplored targets located northeast of the Kodiak Zone. The Young Willis claim comprises 1,856 hectares and was acquired to secure additional prospective ground along strike of the Company’s emerging exploration model. The acquisition has now been formally recorded by the British Columbia Mineral Titles Branch.

Assay Laboratory Procedure
All analytical work was completed by MSA Labs, an independent ISO/IEC 17025 accredited laboratory. Prospecting rock samples were analyzed for gold using the CPA-Au1 Photon Assay method together with FAS-111 fire assay and IMS-230 multi-element geochemistry. Soil samples were analyzed for gold by FAS-111 fire assay with AAS finish together with IMS-131 multi-element geochemistry. The laboratory employs rigorous internal quality assurance and quality control procedures including certified reference materials, blanks and duplicate analyses at prescribed frequencies to monitor analytical accuracy and precision.

With several components of the 2026 exploration program now completed and the Phase 2 ground magnetic survey underway, Bronco anticipates a steady stream of exploration results and technical milestones over the coming months, including:
