Lummus Named Technology Licensor of the Year for Third Consecutive Year

Record five awards recognize Lummus’ technology leadership, industry-leading refining and petrochemical portfolio, and outstanding employee achievements

HOUSTON, Oct. 19, 2026 /PRNewswire/ — Lummus Technology, a global provider of process technologies and value-driven energy solutions, announced it received a record five Gulf Energy Information Excellence Awards, including Technology Licensor of the Year for the third consecutive year, recognizing the company’s continued innovation and leadership across the energy value chain.

In addition to Technology Licensor of the Year, Lummus received awards for Best Petrochemical Technology (Novolen^® PP technology, Advanced VRC^®), and Best Refining Technology (NovaHP^TM naphtha-to-olefins technology). Individual honors were awarded to Ujjal Mukherjee, who received the Lifetime Achievement Award, and Sydney Sweet, who received the Most Promising Engineer Award.
